HOW TO HELP

THANK YOU FOR SIGNING OUR PETITION!

Nearly 3,500 of you signed our petition to the Secretary of State to ask him to review the project in July 2020 upon Halite's 5th Anniversary of being granted the Development Consent Order.

We received a detailed reply from the Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy that although the project will not be reviewed at present, the legal start of the project can be followed up with our local council and there is going to be a Habitats Regulation Assessment of the area due to the extension of the Liverpool Bay Special Protection Area of SPA.

This will involve a public consultation and is a good opportunty for us to input our concerns about the danger to our marine life.

You can find the petition on change.org here.

WRITE A LETTER

This could be to an environmental group, campaigner or celebrity, a local politician or an agency tasked with protecting our local environment.

We have written a letter template to help you.

Feel free to use it or change it to reflect whatever you think is most important.

The template is here.

You can always contact us if you have questions or need additional details for your letter.

Our email is nogasstoragepreesall@gmail.com

Thanks for your support!

SEND US A PHOTO

We would love to hear from you, particularly if you have photographs of the local area of Over Wyre and Fleetwood, your favourite local beauty spot or wildlife.

You can email us on nogasstoragepreesall@gmail.com or tag us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter @nogasstorage
